Types of Essays for Academic Essay
An essay is, in general, a type of written piece that gives the author’s point of view, but the exact definition is somewhat obscure, encompassing people of an article, a newspaper, a publication, an opinion, and even a short narrative. Essays have consistently been regarded as formal and academic. In earlier times this was true, however as time has gone by it was possible to write an essay with marginal notes and then interpret them in a number of different ways. But unlike a narrative essay, an argument essay does not have a protagonist and a villain. Rather the focus is on the general topic of the item. Therefore, this kind of essay may cover many distinct topics ranging from religion to politics and science .
There are two major types of argument essays – analytical and critical. Analytical essays are composed to present study findings while critical ones are more concerning opinion based on facts and research. In order to write an analytical essay, the student has to be able to analyze information, examine arguments rationally and reach a conclusion about a topic. On the flip side, so as to write a critical essay the student must have the ability to learn if the thesis is faked or if there is enough evidence to justify a position.
